Pokemon GO: Get Shiny Ditto As A Wild Spawn (September 2025)
You can encounter a wild Shiny Ditto in Pokemon GO, but it’s not easy. Shiny Ditto has an even lower spawn rate; you must encounter numerous Ditto to reach its Shiny odds. While it is extremely hard to encounter a wild Ditto, you can use in-game items to increase the chances.
Although there’s no guaranteed method, using items can improve your chances. Incense and Pokemon GO Lure Modules boost spawn rates, and combining them with the Weather Boost effect increases wild Pokemon spawn rate. More spawns mean more opportunities to find Ditto, which in turn raises the odds of encountering a Shiny Ditto.
Ditto’s wild spawn rate boosts in partly cloudy weather, so seek out a PokeStop with that weather and attach a Lure Module. Pair it with a Pokemon GO Incense and walk within the Lure’s range to maximize encounters. Doing this during Ditto events or while using Daily Adventure Incense can improve results. However, a Pokemon GO Shiny Ditto is still sort of rare, and only a few trainers will encounter one.
