Roll7's critically acclaimed skating games OlliOlli World and Rollerdrome mysteriously yanked from Steam

UPDATE 3/2/25: Following the surprise removal of OlliOlli World and Rollerdrome from Steam, 2K has confirmed both acclaimed titles “will be added back”.

While the publisher didn’t elaborate on the reason for their removal, it told Eurogamer, “We can confirm that 2K is now publishing these games, which will be added back to Steam.”

Olli Olli World and Rollerdrome’s disappearance from Valve’s platform follows 2K’s decision to close developer Roll7 and the games’ publishing label Private Division last year. At the time of Private Division’s closure, 2K confirmed the rights to many of the label’s games had been purchased by an unnamed third-party. Since then, it’s been reported former Annapurna Interactive staff are set to take over Private Division’s portfolio.

ORIGINAL STORY 2/2/25: Roll7’s award-winning Rollerdrome and OlliOlli World have been mysteriously delisted on Steam.

Whilst there’s been no formal word on why the critically acclaimed skating games have been pulled from sale on Steam, both games had been published on Take-Two Interactive’s indie publishing label, Private Division, before it was sold to an unknown buyer, thought to be Haveli Investments, towards the end of last year.
